Purpose of This Section

This section explains what “human-in-the-loop” actually means in practice, why oversight without authority is ineffective, and where ethical responsibility must reside in AI-supported workflows.

Human-in-the-loop does not mean:

  • a human glanced at the output

  • a notification was sent “just in case”
